Client Services Representative (JMK 2)

The Client Services Representative will be responsible for providing customer support services for JMK 2 guests.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 education and/or certificate in Hospitality Management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak one or more of the First Nation Languages of the Sioux Lookout District would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of First Nation Communities in the Sioux Lookout District
  • Active CPR and First Aide a definite asset
  • Ability to work in multi -team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of standards and procedures
  • Greet incoming visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Provides patrons with information about services
  • Assist receptionist with telephone calls and greeting incoming visitors
  • Assist with luggage tags and storage
  • Assist guests and escort them to locations within the Hostel property
  • Act as a primary contact for patrons with questions and complaints
  • Provide one to one assistance for elders waiting in the lobby
  • Do everything to ensure patrons arrive and depart the Hostel with a positive impression
  • Take a personal interest and pride to ensure the front desk work area is kept clean
  • Provide customer service in a professional manner
  • Ability to provide building orientation for new guests and visitors
  • Referrals to the Patient Navigator Officer located at Shibogama Tribal Council Office
  • Provide referrals to Patient Advocacy and Support worker Be able to work in a team environment
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
