Notice of reduced accommodations and flight availability during Winter 2018/2019
"Due to circumstances outside of our control the Sioux Lookout NIHB program has historically experienced challenges with the availability of flights and hotel accommodations for our First Nations and Inuit clients traveling for medical reasons to Sioux Lookout, ON during December 2018, February and March 2019.
In order to best serve our clients we ask that routine non-urgent appointments be scheduled outside of the dates of December 17 to Jan 3, 2019, February 8, to 17, 2019 and March 8 to 17, 2019 where possible.
For appointments that can not be rescheduled or those of an urgent or pressing nature, every effort will be made to book travel. Consultation with refering physicians may be required should challenges beyond our control be encountered.
As always, NIHB remains commited to making all travel arrangements a priority as per the needs of the clients. I am confident that through open communication and collaboration we will collectively best serve our NIHB clients during these periods.
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Warm Regards,
Cynthia Lucier
Manager, Program Delivery, NIHB Northern Operations"
